About this line-break remover
Text copied from a PDF, a scan or an old email usually arrives with a break in the middle of every sentence. Word and Google Docs then treat each of those lines as its own paragraph, so the block looks ragged and is awkward to edit.
This page turns those hard wraps into normal spaces. “All line breaks” makes one block. “Keep paragraphs” leaves a blank line as a blank line — typical for an article. If a PDF split a word with a hyphen at the end of the line, tick “Join hyphenated words” and the two halves become one word.

What the tool changes
A single Enter in the middle of a sentence is treated as a space. Two Enters in a row can stay as a paragraph break. A hyphen glued to the end of a line can disappear so the word is whole again.

What is the difference between “all line breaks” and “keep paragraphs”?
All line breaks turns every Enter into a space, so you get one block. Keep paragraphs still joins broken sentences, but a blank line between blocks stays a blank line. Use the second option for articles and emails with several parts.
Why does PDF text have extra line breaks?
A PDF stores each visual line as its own line of text. When you copy it, those layout lines come along as Enters, even though they were never meant as paragraphs. This tool puts the sentence back together.
What does “join hyphenated words” do?
PDFs often split a long word at the end of a line with a hyphen: “exam-” on one line and “ple” on the next. With the box ticked, those two pieces become “example”. Leave it off if the hyphen is part of the word on purpose.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Joining runs in your browser. Close the tab and the text is gone. Use it for unpublished copy or private mail — nothing is sent to a server.
